Angelina Ballerina: The Mousical, returning to the UK!

Angelina Ballerina: The Mousical is back in the UK this summer, with performances kicking off in the Nottingham Playhouse on Thursday, July 5.  

 

Based on the stories written by Katherine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig, the musical tells the story of Camembert Academy’s opportunity to appear in Angelina’s favourite television program, ‘Dancing with Mice!’ Our favourite, ballet-mad mouseling thinks her dreams have come true, until the Academy’s girls and boys can’t agree on anything for the show. Can Dance Captain Angelina ensure that the show goes ahead? 

 

Complete with a brilliant cast, extremely talented dancers and singers and new songs, this is the Mousical of the year!

Helen Craig has been a photographer, a freelance potter and sculptor, a Chinese wallpaper restorer and a children’s book author and illustrator. She has worked on more than 60 children’s books since she started in 1970 and is the recipient of several prestigious awards. Three of her books have been chosen for the British Book Design and Production exhibitions, of which ANGELINA BALLERINA won a category award in 1990. In autumn 2001, Hit Entertainment made ANGELINA BALLERINA into a BAFTA-winning TV series with the voices of Dame Judi Dench and her daughter Finty Williams.
