Linda Davis

Linda Davis represents children’s book authors, including Lucy Christopher, Josh Lacey (Joshua Doder) and Pat Walsh.  She is currently interested in finding new authors for the 8-12 age group. Linda has had a long career as a children’s publisher, including many years as publishing director at HarperCollins, where she worked with some of the most famous authors in children’s literature. During this period she was Chair of the Children’s Book Group of the Publishers Association for one year. Then, in the 1990s, she was publishing director of children’s books at Dorling Kindersley. 

Born in the USA, she has degrees in English from Carleton College and New York University.
