Nick Fisher writes for TV, film, radio and print. He is a BAFTA-winning scriptwriter, whose recent TV credits include Hustle, New Tricks, Diamond Geezer and Holby City. He created and wrote the BBC comedy drama Manchild, the format of which he has since sold to the USA and Russia. He also penned the screenplay for Columbia Tristar's teen comedy Virtual Sexuality. Nick has also been a journalist for over 25 years, and his work has appeared in all major newspapers. He was the Agony Uncle for Just Seventeen magazine, The Sun’s film critic for five years, and remains fishing correspondent for Shooting Times and occasional columnist for Country Life. He wrote and presented Channel 4’s angling series Screaming Reels, and BBC Five Live’s Sony Award Winning early morning fishing show Dirty Tackle.

Nick has written several books about teenage sexuality, including LIVING WITH A WILLY, YOUR POCKET GUIDE TO SEX, THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO KISSING and BOYS ABOUT BOYS. Most recently, he wrote THE RIVER COTTAGE SEA FISH HANDBOOK and co-wrote the Andre Simon award-winning RIVER COTTAGE FISH BOOK with friend and fellow fisherman, Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall.
